** A 25pt proficiency exam covering nomenclature and unit analysis will be given during the laboratory sections. You must obtain at least an 70% on this exam in order to pass the class. You will be given 3 chances to obtain the minimum 70% required. However, the score you obtain on your first attempt will represent the points added to your final grade. In other words, do well on your first attempt. If you do not pass the exam after three attempts, the best grade you can earn in the course is a C.

*** Sections 12 and 13 will review and take the quiz during the 1st lab period and perform their experiment during the 2nd period since it would be silly to review after the exam. Section 11 may elect to review right before the exam or during the 1st lab period.

+ The graphs for these lab reports must be computer generated. The Excel tutorial during week 11 is meant to help you with this exercise.
