Birds

There are almost 10,000 species of birds in the world. Because many birds fly and are therefore mobile, it can be difficult to say exactly which birds occur on campus. Some species might be present year round, others visit seasonally, while others are infrequent visitors.

The Sacramento Audobon Society has various checklists of birds you are likely to see in the Sacramento area.
