Fall Poster and Creative Activity Forum
- Undergraduates, graduate students, and recent alumni from ALL disciplines can participate
- Exchange ideas, discuss new discoveries, and interact with like-minded individuals
- We remove the financial burden by ordering and paying for all posters submitted by the deadline specified on the application
- Participants choose their favorite poster

Spring Symposium
- Students share their research in a 10-minute oral presentation to the campus community
- All students and disciplines are encouraged to sign up
- 1st and 2nd place winners are selected and recognized at an award ceremony
- Top 10 first place awardees are selected to compete in the Annual CSU Student Research Competition against all 23 Cal State Universities

CSU-wide Student Research Competition
- Top 10 first place winners in the Spring Symposium compete in annual CSU-wide Student Research Competition
- Sac State CSU-wide competitors have the opportunity to have the travel and lodging funded by the Student Research Center
