    Welcome

The Parents & Families Program wants you to be informed and involved. We host a reception on Move in Day where you can hear from campus leaders like Chief of Police, Mark Iwasa.

    Welcome

The Parents & Families program creates communities for enrolled and prospective students' families, and students-with-children.

We serve these populations through communications, events, costumer service, advising and advocacy.

    Welcome

You have done so much to support your student getting to college, and we want them to graduate. The Parents & Families Program is here to support you.

  • Martah Lozano

    STRONG 2018 Student-Parent Winner

    Martah  Alozano

Martah is an MBA graduate student and a mother two kids. Her STRONG idea is to explore the effects that social media and undisciplined screen time poses on Early Child Development and Teenagers and collaborate with local programs to promote cognitive development, language skills and reading away from media consumption.

  • Nishay Gordon

    STRONG 2018 Student-Parent Runner-up

    Nishay Gordon

Nishay is a mother of two boys and is majoring in Sociology and minoring in Art. Her STRONG idea is to create a recreational center for the youth. The goal of the center is to create better opportunities and outcomes for minority youth in Sacramento while simultaneously improving, reinventing, and restructuring their relationship with law enforcement, as well as improving law reinforcement's perception of them.
