Greek New Member Education

The purpose of Greek New Member Education is to provide a standardized educational program that uses a bystander intervention framework to empower newly affiliated students to promote, create, and maintain a healthy and thriving Greek community.

This program must be attended by all new members/associates/pledges of recognized social fraternities and sororities within the five Greek Councils (Interfraternity Council, Latino Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Panhellenic Council, and United Sorority & Fraternity Council). Organizations may request, in writing from SO&L, to extend this completion time period to the first active member semester to accommodate specific intake processes.
