When the Sacramento State and/or Cumulative GPA falls below 2.0, students are placed on Academic Probation. Students on probation are in danger of being disqualified from the University. Here are some suggestions for students on probation:

See an advisor in the Academic Advising Center, Lassen Hall 1013;
• See a major advisor;
• Repeat F, WU, and D grades;
• Work fewer hours;
• Take fewer units.

Students on probation are likely to avoid being disqualified making significant changes in their life. “Trying harder” or “having a better attitude” seldom makes much difference. See an advisor soon.
