WHERE TO GET HELP
Assistance in planning your academic program is available in the following offices:
ACADEMIC ADVISING CENTER – Located in Lassen Hall 1013. Provides information about GE requirements, graduation requirements, and petitioning procedures. The office is open until 6:00p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during Fall and Spring semesters.
MAJOR ADVISING – Located in all departments. Provides information about major requirements, minor requirements, and career opportunities. Major departments provide advising to all students enrolled at Sacramento State. Check with your major department for specific advising policies and procedures. Undeclared students see advisors in the Academic Advising Center, Lassen Hall 1013.
GRADUATION ADVISING – The Degree Evaluations Office is located in the Office of the Registrar in Lassen Hall 2000. The office provides information about GE requirements, graduation requirements, graduation date changes, petitioning procedures, and degree conferral. The office is open (drop-in and phone) Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. http://www.csus.edu/admr/evaluations.
BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ADVISING – Located in Tahoe Hall 1030 (for Business Administration majors). The office provides information about requirements, concentration options, and graduation applications. http://www.cba.csus.edu.
LIBERAL STUDIES, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, AND SOCIAL SCIENCE ADVISING - Located in Lassen Hall 2008. The office provides information about major requirements, articulation of courses taken at other colleges, and preparation for teaching credential program. PRE-NURSING ADVISING - Located in Lassen Hall 1013 in the Academic Advising Center. The office provides information on prerequisites for the Nursing program, information on other majors related to health care, and provides advising on general education.
