Welcome to SALS!
SALS is the Student Association of Laboratory Scientists. Our purpose is to provide members with helpful information regarding careers in the laboratory sciences. SALS and its guest speakers provide information on graduate programs, job offerings, internships, resume writing, interview skills as well as both general and specific information about different fields of study and employment. Our main goal is to perpare our members for their continuing education and career search in the laboratory fields.
Check the SALS message board on the 2nd floor in Humboldt Hall across from room 221. Also look for flyers in Humboldt and Sequoia Halls with information about upcoming meetings and events. In addition you can join the SALS listproc account to receive email messages, announcements and job postings.
The SALS meetings of Spring 2011 are every other Thursday evenings at 17:30 in Seqouia 105, though this may change depending on the availability of a guest speaker. All meetings and special events will be posted on both SALS website and SALS notice board, and sent out through listproc email.
