Arturo Baiocchi has a PhD in Sociology from the University of Minnesota (June 2014) and is interested in mixed-methods research, mental health, foster care and services/programs for vulnerable populations. Arturo has published and conducted several research projects in the community related to homelessness, immigration, chemical addiction, young adults and mental health. During the last two years Arturo has taught courses in Social Work and Sociology here at CSUS related to Social Theory, Statistics, Program Evaluation, and Poverty and Homelessness. When he is not dissertating, researching or teaching, you can see him around town cycling with his wife in matching outfits. He is also a swell guy that likes to travel.
