Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Systems and Campus Applications, you will provide software development support for enterprise applications, primarily the Common Management System (PeopleSoft) HCM and Campus Solutions systems, and other ancillary systems as assigned. Duties encompass software requirements analysis, database application design, maintenance, and programming to deliver and support PeopleSoft systems. You will also serve as a primary technical resource for a module, such as Admissions, Student Records, Advisement, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Transfer Credit, Catalog/Schedule, or HCM, and frequently consult with campus divisions to better understand their enterprise software needs.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or equivalent training and applied experience.

Reporting to the Manager of Customer Services and Experience, this new position works as a member of the IRT Service Desk team, with a focus on the quality and thoughtfulness of the customer experience for faculty, staff, and students. Supplementing your working knowledge of software apps, equipment and technical skills, you’ll cross-train on service offerings to ensure continuity of service to the campus user community. Responsibilities include: planning, evaluating, and improving the customer experience, collaborating with division and campus colleagues, assessing campus service needs, developing and coordinating plans for future service management, and writing content and developing materials for the web.

As a steward of industry best practices, and champion for human-centered design, you’ll also help build standards and guidelines, contribute to the development of the IRT Service Catalog, and support user testing and other user-facing activities to validate design and interaction of content. This is a high-touch service role, with a high bar for delivering engaging and friendly customer service and expert level consultation to our campus community in multiple mediums including in-person, phone, chat, email, and ticket software. We’re looking for a “dig deeper” individual with a natural problem solving curiosity to learn our customers’ needs and wants, evaluate their usage patterns, and bridge the divide between technical and lay-speak to help our campus community maximize service offerings with timely, useful, and easy-to-consume content.

Join the IRT Operations and Network Services (ONS) team as a Senior Cloud Architect! This key position provides technical expertise in a highly distributed technical environment at California State University, Sacramento. As part of a cross-functional team, the Senior Cloud Architect is primarily responsible for the administration, operation, configuration, and security of the university's private and public cloud (Azure, AWS, Vcloud or GCP) infrastructure design and architecture. You’ll work closely with campus stakeholders to develop, plan, project manage, support, and secure critical IT infrastructures such as on-prem storage and server virtualization environment, as well as lead efforts to develop public cloud solutions that fit strategic goals. Guided by CSU and university standards and practices, this position will collaborate across IRT to solve problems and contribute to IT planning and decision making.
