-----I was born and raised outside Sacramento.
I attended public schools and community college. I played sports in high school.
Baseball was my sport. To tell you the truth, had I been a better athlete, I would
of done basketball. Last time I checked, I had a vertical leap of ground. I wasn't
to popular in high school. I had too many friends. Guys from the football team for
example, asked why I talked to that person who they considered a geek. While at the
same time, others would ask why I would talk to the brain dead jocks. I was in the
middle. I didn't stray much off course. Tee shirts, jeans and a pair of basketball
shoes made up my wardrobe. In fact, now that I think about it, I still dress the
same in college. I was a decent student. 2.4 gpa, and I wished I would have studied
more. I had a problem with authority in high school. I didn't listen to what people
wanted me to do, like teachers, coaches and parents. I thought I was rebelling, later
after some thought, I came to the conclusion, I was just lazy.
-----When I got to college, I got my grades up to a respectful 3.2 gpa in college
transferable courses. I tried to continue my baseball career but that didn't work.
Some say you start your athletic prime at 18 years old. When I turned 18, I went
down hill.
-----I'm a big movie fan. Top 5 for me, 5 Empire Strikes Back, 4 Reservoir Dogs,
3 The God Father, 2 Pulp Fiction, and 1 Raiders of the Lost Ark. The only reason
Raiders is number one, is that I saw it at a young age and I got hooked. I wanted
to be Indiana Jones badly when I was little. Even got to see it about 8 times on
the big screen, which is pretty good for a youngster. I'm pretty loyal too, so it
will always stay number one. Pulp Fiction is a close two though. Samuel L. Jackson
is my second favorite actor. "Oh. I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?
Oh, you were finished, well allow me to retort." You probably already guessed
my favorite actor.
-----Chris Rock said he was a sucker for a good beat. I'm a sucker for a beat. When
I was in high school, music didn't really do much for me. But now, I love it. I listen
to everything. Rap, rock, R&B, ska, disco and top 40. It does not matter. My
five top albums would be, 5 Chemical Brothers-dig your own hole, 4 Nirvana-Nevermind,
3 Snoop Doggy Dog-Doggystlye, 2 NWA-Straight Out of Compton, 1 Al Green-Greatest
Hits Album. Those are the current five. But that always changes. That list was pretty
hard to make up. Another notables: Ten by Pearl Jam, Limp Bizkit, Surrender-Chemical
Brothers, Fatboy Slim and Alanis Morissette- Jagged Little Pill.
-----As for Science Fiction, I love it too. I haven't got into books, but the movies
I love. The Matrix is at the top of my list. Bladerunner is there too. But I had
some problems with it. Take out the Actors, the movies would go down in history.
I just think the direction, art background and music were just to good. Those poor
actors couldn't keep up. Rutger Howard was pretty damn good though. As for the books,
I have read some Star Wars novels, but there more the on the dime-store side. Do
Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is the real first one I read with some heart.
-----Well that's it for me. If I think of anything new, I'll add it later. Na, this
will have to work for you.
