-----My father was a veterinarian. He practiced
modern western medicine until approximately 1980. He didn't practice for two years.
Then he started up again and practiced holistic medicine until his death. My mother
is a hydro-geologist. She works for the state of California managing the cleanup
of super fund sites. She is currently project manager for the eastern Lawrence Livermore
site.
-----I was born May sixteenth nineteen seventy, in Eugene, Oregon. My parents divorced
when I was two years old and my father retained custody. Since then I have spent
holidays and most of summer with whichever parent I wasn't living with.
-----I lived in the city of Sandy, OR until I was four years old. My father then
acquired a small farm of 40 acres farther up the slopes (foothills actually) of Mt
Hood.
-----Dad remarried when I was about four. My brother and sister were born from the
second marriage. Homan is four and a half years my junior and Sarah is seven years
younger than I. When I was nine there was another divorce and Homan and Sarah went
with my mom (step mom). I was given the choice of whom I wished to stay with, I chose
to stay with my father.
-----We lived there until I was ten years of age. My father and I then moved to eastern
OR. The closest "town" was Medical Springs. The closest town on a map was
Baker. We lived there for two and a half years when we lost the farm (500 acres)
and we had to move back to Sandy. I did not want to move back to Sandy so I moved
in with my mother, who was living in Salt Lake City at the time.
-----My mother and I lived there for two years and then moved to Bakersfield CA.
After two years of purgatory in Bakersfield we moved to my grandparents ranch near
Dixon, which is where I finished my last three years of high school. Four months
after I graduated I moved in to my father's place in Sandy because he had become
ill. He died six months later. I was eighteen. I fell in love almost as soon as he
died. The relationship lasted about three months and Shawn had had enough of me.
I was decimated for about eight months.
-----When I was nineteen I bought a one year open-end ticket to New Zealand. I spent
a year traipsing around New Zealand, and a month driving down the East Coast of Australia.
When I returned I went to visit my brother (Homan) and sister (Sarah) in Portland
or, I was on my way to Antarctica. While I was there, they asked me to stay until
they graduated from high school. So, I started going to college.
-----I lived in the Portland area for seven years. I worked diligently towards a
physics degree for about four and a half years. While I was in college I was captured
by a lovely young woman. She tried to retain me by having my daughter. This indirectly
influenced me to quit school. I ran from her out of fear of responsibility and married
someone else. I love my daughter (Tiana, pictured above) very much and see her as
often as possible. Her mother (Stacy) and I are on relatively good terms. Stacy eventually
married and I am now separated from my wife through unrelated circumstances.
-----When my mother needed help on the ranch, because my Grandfather died and the
hired help left, I moved down to California to help. I have been in the Dixon/Winters
area for just over a year.
