If
you guessed Paso Robles, you're correct. This California
Wine Tourism postcard-perfect view is of Eos
Estate Winery.
Eos, Greek goddess of the dawn, provides the mythological
inspiration for the winery. Eos has an unquenchable desire for
young men, and if you're reading this, you probably have an
unquenchable desire for wine knowledge. Visitors to Paso
Robles will find amazingly beautiful estate vineyards and
shouldn't miss the beautiful Vina
Robles Winery and Vineyards
and Robert
Hall Winery,
with the largest underground caverns of any central coast
winery. This region still has a feeling of newness
to it, although its wine history is one of the longest in
California. The newness comes from the fact that this region is now
the fastest growing wine region in California. (And it should
be mentioned that the vineyards are immaculate!) Mid-way between the
population centers of Los Angeles and San Francisco, Paso
Robles is well worth the distance to visit. |
