wine
is sure proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy. |
wine
is the most civilized thing in the world. |
we
could in the united states make as great a variety of wines as are made
in europe, not exactly of the same kind, but doubtless as good. |
wine
makes daily living easier, less hurried, with fewer tensions and more
tolerance. |
wine
makes every meal an occasion, every table more elegant, every day more
civilized. |
wine
had such ill effects on Noah’s health that it was all he could do to
live 950 years. show me a total abstainer that ever lived that long. |
a
mind of the caliber of mine cannot derive its nutrient from cows. |
remember
gentlemen, it's not just France we are fighting for, it's champagne! |
we
will sell no wine before it’s time |

RPTA
186 :: California Wine Tourism Introduction to the wine tourism industry in California, with an emphasis on marketing wineries (including diversity in wine marketing), wineries as event stages (tableaux), marketing related agri-tourism products, wine destination “pull” factors, and winery retail. The course will also examine wine mythology, culture and ritual, the role of the sommelier, wine region geography, wine science, destination sustainability, and wine tourism impacts (social, moral, economic, agricultural and infrastructural). Includes field trips that do not involve wine tasting. |
Because of the field-trip nature of this course, the enrollment limit of 20 students will not be exceeded. Field trips for this class are generally on Fridays. |
