The problem with the plots was that the data too close to zero distance for the atoms. The shape of the plot looks similar to how it shouldfs, but it does not reflect the behavior of the ions. Remove the data from the bottom of the chart up to the distance of about 0.037 nm. This will clean up the plot so that the attractive force will be on the correct side.

First set of announcements.  The due dates for the labs on the web pages are incorrect.  Please use the dates given on the schedule page attached to the syllabus and on the web based schedule.  I will try to get this fixed as time allows.

This is where you will go to find general announcements for the class.  This will have suggestions on how to better complete labs and will occasionally have clarifications from lecture and lab.  If you don't understand the announcements, please do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail.
