Homework Assignments
Please read!
- The some of you homework must be completed prior to
logging onto OWL. You need to work ~3 or 4 HW problems a night
throughout the week, then submit your answers in OWL by Sunday at 10pm.
- Some assignments can be completed in OWL only, the end of chapter HW can be completed ahead of time.
- Some OWL only assignments will be listed as extra credit. The time permitted to answer will be limited to a day or two, so you need to check OWL through out the week.
- Do not wait until the last minute to do your HW as you will not have sufficient time.
- If you miss a few HW problems over the course of the semester don't worry, it will not impact your overall score significantly.
- After each HW set is due, the OWL system will post the answers.
- Each assignment date will be strictly enforced. If you do not submit your answers by the due dates, your HW will not be accepted.
- The points provided for doing your HW are a courtesy. To do well in this course you need to do more than the minimum assigned problems and excursuses.
You may also purchase a code at the bookstore.
Remember: You do your HW for your own benefit!

HW assignments will be updated week by week. You need to do as many problems as possible to master the material. Showing up to lecture WILL NOT guarantee that you will pass the course!
All HW submissions are due by 10:00 pm on the due date (Sunday nights)
Do not wait until 9:30 pm to log onto OWL, you will not have enough time!
Sending me emails at 4 pm on Sunday will not hel you either...
