Dr. Edmund W. Lee is a third generation Chinese-American who was born and raised in Sacramento. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Asian History at the University of California, Davis, his Master of Arts in Elementary Education at CSU, Sacramento, and his Doctor of Education at the University of the Pacific. Dr. Lee spent 21 years working as an elementary teacher and district administrator in the California public schools prior to joining the College of Education faculty in 1999. His expertise includes bilingual/multicultural education, categorical programs administration, and school improvement.
