GEOGRAPHY 100: THEMES IN WORLD GEOGRAPHY
|
|
Themes in World Geography is a one-semester comprehensive course for
Liberal Studies and Social Science majors. It highlights interests
and skills which both amateur and professional geographers bring to
and develop within their discipline. The course begins with an
appreciation of maps and globes as ever-useful representations of
spatial information. The focus of lectures and assignments shifts
to Earth's physical environments, then to human-induced landscapes
as the semester progresses.
