As of April 24, 2017, Dept. of Education no longer requires schools to collect the verification of non-filing letter. If the Verification of Non-Filing Letter was "Initiated"on your Student Center To Do List, it has been waived.
The IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA will be unavailable until early Fall 2017. As alternatives, tax transcripts can be requested online, by mail or phone. Refer to your To Do List item for more information.
Fuel for $chool - A New Financial Aid Tool! The FA Meter Tool is a new financial planning tool for your academic career at Sac State. Disbursements begin one week before the semester begins. Disbursements occur twice a week through Census and weekly thereafter. If eligible, allow 2 - 3 business days after disbursement for an eRefund. Read more on Disbursements and Refunds.
