The LegiSchool Project

The LegiSchool Project's
Real World Civics Summer Internship

Do you want to work in the State Capitol? Meet with elected officials and state leaders? Experience a court trial first-hand? If you answered yes, then this internship is for you!

The LegiSchool Project's Real World Civics Summer Internship gives a select number of high school students the opportunity to experience state government in action. During the summer, students learn about every branch of state government and develop practical and professional skills that will help you in college and beyond!

The internship is five-weeks and runs from Mid-June thru Mid-July. Students will be mentored by Capital Fellows, graduate students working in state government. A stipend of $350 will be provided upon successful completion of the internship.

For an insider's glimpse of what our internship is all about, check out our blog.

***The LegiSchool Real World Civics Internship has been postponed for 2017.  Please check back next spring for information on how to apply in 2018.
