Since 1990 Jean-Pierre Bayard has been a faculty member in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at California State University, Sacramento. His teaching-related interests are in the use of technology in the teaching and learning of engineering concepts. He has developed multimedia notes and interactive learning and assessment modules for several electrical engineering courses. During the year 1999-2000 he was a fellow of the NSF-funded National Institute for Science Education (NISE). In that capacity he investigated the use of computer-based technology in the teaching of sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). He is an expert in using the program Toolbook, a powerful tool for creating (PC only) interactive lessons to be delivered on CD or on the web. As an experienced teacher, Jean-Pierre is a good resource if you have classroom challenges, and you are not sure what technology can do to help. JP is located in ARC 3005.
