The Sacramento State Farm-to-Fork is an annual event that addresses all aspects of food systems in the campus community. The festival and keynote speaker is hosted by Student Health & Counseling Services and the Family and Consumer Sciences department, and is free and open to the public. The keynote is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and features David Bacon, author of The Pacific Coast Farm Worker Rebellion.

Monday, October 16 - MLK's Visit - 50th Anniversary

Empathy, Equality, and Esteem: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s visit to Sacramento State in 1967. His speech entitled "The Civil Rights Movement of the Future" was attended by more than 7,000 people. Join us to celebrate the milestones that have been reached thus far in working to fulfill the dream of Dr. King and to continue the fight of transforming ourselves, our communities, and our world. This powerful day starts with a brunch and continues with a film screening, keynotes by Tavis Smiley, panel discussions, a concert and more. Be sure to RSVP to be part of this memorable event.

Drew Hibbs and Wayne Sheppard will be inducted into the Coaches Circle, a wing of the Hall of Fame that honors basketball coaches that graduated from Sac State.
